This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Cloud Sales Specialist in the United States.
This role is a key driver of cloud growth within a fast-evolving sales environment, supporting customers as they navigate digital transformation and adoption of modern cloud solutions. You will act as a trusted advisor across AWS and Azure ecosystems, helping enterprise clients design scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures. Working closely with account executives and cross-functional teams, you will influence deal strategy, shape technical solutions, and accelerate sales cycles. The position blends technical expertise with consultative selling, requiring both strategic thinking and hands-on customer engagement. You will operate across multiple markets in a remote-first setup, contributing to both direct and channel-driven opportunities. This is a high-impact role where your expertise directly supports revenue growth, customer success, and long-term cloud adoption.
Accountabilities:
- Support account executives in identifying, qualifying, and closing cloud-related opportunities within existing and new accounts
- Lead the technical sales process, including solution positioning, customer discovery, and alignment on business requirements
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor for cloud solutions, owning customer-facing architecture discussions and recommendations
- Collaborate with AWS and Azure field teams to co-sell and accelerate pipeline progression and deal velocity
- Develop deep knowledge of cloud offerings through certifications, training, and continuous self-learning
- Ensure proposed solutions align with enterprise architecture standards, customer expectations, and business objectives
- Manage funding requests and related documentation to ensure compliance, accuracy, and timely submission
- Build strong relationships with internal sales teams, partners, and customer technical stakeholders
- Provide enablement and informal training to internal sales teams on cloud solutions and positioning
- Stay current on cloud technologies, market trends, and industry best practices
- 2+ years of pre-sales experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure environments
- 5+ years of experience in IT, IT consulting, cloud services, or managed services roles
- Strong understanding of cloud frameworks such as AWS architecture best practices and Microsoft Azure reference architectures
- AWS Cloud Practitioner and/or Azure Fundamentals (AZ-900) certification required
- Proven ability to identify customer challenges and translate them into cloud-based solutions
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple complex opportunities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate technical and commercial challenges
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and standard business applications
- Competitive base salary ranging from $127,000 to $195,459 annually (based on experience and location)
