Cloud security is becoming increasingly important as organizations are accelerating their cloud migration. Britive is at the forefront of the emerging cloud security industry with the only modern privileged access management platform that provides unified Privileged Access Visibility, Dynamic Privilege Management and Secrets Governance across cloud infrastructures, platforms & SaaS.

Britive is hosting a three-phase hackathon where applicants will work on challenges developed by our team of engineers. Participants will get the opportunity to build up their public repositories while working on some cool challenges, get access to mentorship and resources provided by our senior engineering team and gain real world experience in working and collaborating with engineers in interview and work like environments. Most importantly, four finalists will be offered JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER full time roles with Britive, commencing January 1, 2023!

ABOUT YOU
You are a passionate current or aspiring Software Engineer who wants to develop and scale our multi-tenant SaaS applications on the AWS platform. You have a strong education or background in engineering, specifically in Java. When you’re not in school you’re working on interesting side projects to sharpen your skills, and you love it! Most importantly, you are stoked to get your engineering career kick started at a cloud security start up with a team of ~30 incredibly smart and seasoned engineers.
ABOUT YOUR IMPACT
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for development of a large-scale application stack running on AWS.
- Collaborate with senior engineering team to design and integrate software and troubleshoot product issues.
- Perform proof of concepts to identify best design options including usage of AWS services.
- Research integration options for various SaaS/IaaS technologies, including APIs for user administration and incorporate this research in our application integration.
Required Skills:
- In depth Knowledge on Java, Object Oriented Programming Concepts.
- Outstanding collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to effectively work, synchronously and asynchronously, with distributed teams.
- Tendency to default to action while proactively seeking input and support.
- Meticulous and consistent documentation abilities
Nice to Have:
- Experience with microservices architecture, container/Docker technology, CI/CD principles and AWS Platform.
- Experience with of Spring, Spring Boot, Java, REST Web Services, SQL/NoSQL databases,
- Certification of Completion from a well renowned coding institute.
