Commercial Door Technician/Installer

Job description We are looking for eager and qualified Service Technicians! Our Service Technicians work closely with the team to provide exceptional experiences for our customers and play an integral part in our overall growth. The ideal candidate has a high mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving ability, and a high personal standard of quality and workmanship. MUST HAVE COMMERCIAL DOOR INSTALLATION EXP, OR YOU WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED Hours:8:00 am- 5 pm M-F Responsibilities: Install, repair, and perform maintenance on commercial doors, gates, and dock equipment following company processes and safety standards Use analytical and problem-solving skills to accurately determine service plan Drive to customer sites in the company-provided vehicle with the necessary resources Educate customers about the products, how to best use them, and how to maintain them Maintain the highest level of professionalism and customer relations with each service call Performs other duties as assigned Requirements: Valid California driver’s license with clean driving record Minimum of 2 years of experience as a commercial door/gate/dock service technician Knowledge of and adherence to safety regulations and protocols Good communication skills in the English language Excellent attention to detail and ability to quickly learn and apply concepts and techniques Proficiently use hand and power tools and operate lift equipment Physical ability to lift 70 lbs, climb ladders, and continuously lift and bend Expected hours:40 – 45 per week Benefits after hiring permanent Dental insurance Health insurance On-the-job training Paid time off Professional development assistance Vision insurance Schedule: Monday to Friday Weekends as needed Year-round work Job Type:Full-time Experience: Construction:2 years (Required) Door hanging:2 year (Preferred) Language: English (Required) License/Certification: Driver's License (Required) Ability to Commute Pay:$30.00 - $35.00 per hour Benefits: Health insurance Ability to Relocate: • Union City, CA 94587: Relocate before starting work (Required)
