Multi-State Licensed Per Diem Pharmacist - Online (closed-door)

Job Overview Animus Veterinary Group is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our Healthcare team in our online closed-door pharmacy. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work collaboratively within a closed-door clinical setting. The Pharmacist will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications to patients. Duties • Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. • Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and pharmacy transactions using pharmacy software. • Supervise Pharmacy Technicians in their daily tasks to ensure optimal workflow and adherence to best practices. • Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations. • No patient consultations are required. Experience • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from an accredited institution is required. • Previous experience in retail pharmacy settings is a plus. • Proficiency in pharmacy software systems is essential for efficient operation. • Multi-state licenses are a plus, but not required.
