Electrical Lead (Commercial)
Craig Service Group is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Electrical Lead to join our team. This role involves overseeing apprentices, managing job progress, coordinating with other trades, and ensuring a high standard of safety and professionalism on site.
Responsibilities:
• Apprentice Management:Assign tasks to apprentices, oversee their work quality, and provide support. Maintain regular records of job progress.
• Project Documentation:Update project prints and other important files in OneDrive; ensure all updates are accurately reflected.
• Communication & Reporting:Use Trello to log daily reports and updates for the Division Lead; escalate any significant job concerns.
• Material Management:Order materials as needed, monitoring for shortages and reporting any issues promptly to the Division Lead.
• Team Meetings:Participate in weekly Division meetings to stay aligned on project updates, priorities, and best practices.
• Safety Standards:Follow company safety SOPs and guidelines; ensure apprentices are well-versed in safety protocols and escalate any safety concerns to the Division Lead.
• Cleanliness & Professionalism:Maintain a clean work environment and uphold a high standard of personal and site cleanliness.
• Collaboration with Other Trades:Work collaboratively with other on-site trades, communicating professionally and representing Craig Service Group’s values of Unity, Legacy, and Service.
Requirements:
• At least 4 years experience in electrical work and managing apprentices.
• Familiarity with OneDrive, Trello, and basic project documentation preferred.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and cleanliness standards.
• Professionalism and ability to work effectively with diverse on-site teams.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.00 - $36.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
