Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician *** $10,000 SIGN-ON BONUS *** Airco Mechanical, a leader in the commercial mechanical, electric and plumbing industries is now accepting resumes for the position of Commercial HVAC Chiller Technician. Candidates will be expected to pass a drug screening, a light physical exam and FEDERAL background check. Airco is looking for technicians with experience in any of the following: • Possess hands on skills and knowledge to complete required repairs and maintenance on a variety of chiller manufacturers, cooling towers, pumps, motors, and HVAC systems using industry standard tools and in accordance with all codes, laws, and regulations • Water source heat pumps and evaporative condensers • Data center environmental equipment • Understanding of basic HVAC controls and VFD’s • Air handling equipment including VAV systems typically found in larger commercial systems • Performing preventative maintenance on hydronic cooling & heating systems • Pump and motor alignments • OEM CERTIFICATIONS ARE A PLUS • OEM EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and/or CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS • High School or Trade School Graduate or GED • EPA Universal license • At least 3 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience • Valid Texas driver’s license with a clean record BENEFITS • $5,000 sign-on bonus for 3+ years experience • $7,500 sign-on bonus for 5+ years experience • Two weeks paid vacation - 1st year • Paid holidays & sick leave • Very low mileage service vehicles • Excellent health, vision, & dental insurance with incredibly low employee cost • Life insurance – (2X salary paid by company) • Short-term & long term disability insurance (paid by the company) • Accidental death and dismemberment Insurance • Optional additional life insurance • 401 K Savings plan: matched by company • Tuition reimbursement *Sign on bonus depends on experience and will be discussed during the interview process* Job Type: Full-time Pay: Up to $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible spending account • Health insurance • Health savings account • Life insurance • Paid time off • Professional development assistance • Referral program • Relocation assistance • Retirement plan • Tuition reimbursement • Vision insurance Work Location: In person
