Commercial Hvac Installer Foreman (8+yrs Exp)

Established San Jose (California)-based mechanical contractor is seeking experienced commercial HVAC Installer Foreman. Foreman shall oversee the installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems. HVAC Foreman Responsibilities: • Must be able to read construction drawings and can develop a work plan and materials list. • Identify issues between drawing and field conditions to develop RFIs. • Able to train, supervise, and direct journeymen to complete tasks. • Arrive at job site scheduled time and location as dispatched. • Operate company vehicle as needed. • Maintain the necessary tools as listed for HVAC Installer/Journeyman. • Complete work assignments in an efficient, thorough, consistent and punctual manner. • Maintain a professional attitude and appearance at all times. • Participate in and attend employee training, meetings and quarterly inventory. • Proficient in the following: • • Measuring ductwork and drawing ductwork for fabrication • • Hole cutting in metal ductwork • · Duct connection and installation • · Installations of equipment such as RTUs, furnaces, exhaust fans, split systems, and roof curbs • · Installation of duct and flex to local code and SMACNA standards • · Installation of refrigerant Lines • · Installation of VAVs, hot water reheat coils, and fan coils HVAC Foreman Requirements: • Minimum 8 years of commercial HVAC related field experience. Preferably 3 years in a foreman or field leadership position. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • A “team player”. • Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record. • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check. • Salary shall be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
