Commercial Journeyman Electrician

POSITION OVERVIEW We are currently seeking aTexas-licensed Journeyman Electricianto join our team. Applicants must hold an active Texas Journeyman Electrician license to be considered for this position. The ideal candidate has a solid work ethic and work history, strong technical knowledge, and a commitment to completing work safely and efficiently. Position will be working closely with job Foreman to promote outstanding customer service, safety compliance and job assignments on-time and within budget. Provide customers with solutions to all their electrical needs. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems on commercial construction and retrofit projects • Interpret blueprints, construction documents and technical diagrams • Perform conduit bending (EMT, PVC, RMC), wire pulling, switchgear installations, lighting systems and controls • Installation of various electrical devices • Troubleshoot electrical systems efficiently and safely • Ensure compliance with NEC, Texas codes and jobsite safety standards • Plan and install electrical systems in accordance with job specifications and local codes • Connect and test wiring, circuit breakers, transformers and related components • Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using appropriate tools and testing equipment • Inspect systems fore safety, code compliance and performance; make necessary adjustments and repairs • Additional Duties as assigned JOB REQUIREMENTS • Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (TSBPE) • 3+ years of hands on experience in commercial electrical work • Valid Texas Driver License with a clean driving record • Must pass a pre-employment screening Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40 per week Benefits: • Paid time off • Safety equipment provided Compensation Package: • Overtime pay Schedule: • 4x10 Ability to Commute: • DFW, TX 75261 (Preferred) Ability to Relocate: • DFW, TX 75261: Relocate before starting work (Preferred) Willingness to travel: • 25% (Preferred) Work Location: In person
