Commercial Pipe Welder

Proman Skilled Tradesis seeking aCommercial Pipe Welderto become an integral part of our team! The Pipe Welder will use specialized equipment to weld and assemble new metal forms for a Mechanical client. You will be working on commercial construction projects in theHouston, TX area. Duties: - Perform pipe welding tasks including tube bending, building, assembling, and fabricating. - Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate pipe layout and installation. - Follow codes and standards for pipe welding to ensure compliance with safety regulations. - Collaborate with other team members to plumb and connect pipes for various systems such as HVAC. - Pipe Welder will use measuring tools such as calipers to take precise measurements for pipe fitting. - Operate rigging equipment to lift and position heavy pipes. Skills: - Proficient in pipe welding techniques and able to produce high-quality welds. - Strong understanding of codes, standards, and regulations related to pipe welding. - Ability to read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. - Experience in tube bending, fabrication, and assembly of pipes. - Knowledge of HVAC systems and their components. - Familiarity with using calipers and other measuring tools for precise pipe fitting. - Ability to operate rigging equipment safely.
