This is a great opportunity for the right teacher: a part-time position in the mornings teaching just two studentsMonday-Friday from 8:30am-12:30pmthat pays$60/hour ($1200/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current school year. Looking for an elementary teacher to plan and implement daily lessons across all core subjects for both children (both kids are about 1 year ahead of grade level) using the parent’s chosen homeschool curriculum. The parents will supply the curriculum and are willing to collaborate with the teacher about which curriculum is used, however the curriculum will not have any religious aspect. The right teacher will be patient, energetic, and kind. Looking for a teacher who is creative and can think outside of the box, and who will be reactive to each student. Ideally, the right teacher will also have some prior teaching experience outside of the classroom. A business or financial background is a plus. The teacher should also be able to teach remotely at times when the family is traveling. Teacher candidates should have a minimum of at least 4 years of teaching experience working with elementary-aged children. A BA with state certification is preferred, but not required.
