This is a high-impact, client-facing strategic consulting role at the intersection of life sciences, commercial strategy, and advanced analytics. You will act as a trusted advisor to pharmaceutical and healthcare clients, translating complex commercial challenges into structured, insight-driven recommendations that directly shape go-to-market strategies and HCP engagement models. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on analytical depth, leveraging real-world healthcare and prescribing data to uncover actionable insights. You will lead end-to-end client engagements, from discovery through execution, ensuring clarity, rigor, and measurable business impact. Operating in a fast-paced, AI-enabled environment, you will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, analytics, and product teams. This role is ideal for a consultant who thrives in ambiguity and is passionate about improving patient outcomes through data-driven decision-making.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead structured client engagements using a hypothesis-driven consulting approach to solve complex commercial challenges in life sciences.
  • Translate ambiguous business problems into clear analytical frameworks, delivering actionable strategic recommendations.
  • Conduct qualitative and quantitative analyses across market sizing, segmentation, brand strategy, and commercial effectiveness.
  • Leverage healthcare datasets (including prescribing and claims data) to generate insights on brand performance and HCP targeting opportunities.
  • Support launch planning, go-to-market strategy, competitive intelligence, and commercial optimization initiatives.
  • Design and deliver executive-level presentations, QBRs, and strategic briefings with clear, BLUF-style communication.
  • Assess client data maturity and analytics capabilities to design tailored, insight-driven solutions.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment between client needs, product capabilities, and strategic roadmap evolution.
  • Manage end-to-end project delivery including scope definition, timelines, risks, and stakeholder coordination.
  • Drive client adoption of data-driven and AI-enabled commercial practices, supporting change management and capability building.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in management consulting, strategy, or client-facing analytics roles, ideally within life sciences, pharma, or healthcare.
    • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical commercial operations including brand strategy, launch planning, market access, and commercial excellence.
    • Proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and translate them into rigorous analytical approaches.
    • Experience working with healthcare and prescribing datasets (e.g., NBRx, TRx, claims data) and interpreting commercial performance metrics.
    • Strong proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel and experience with data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau.
    • Familiarity with AI-enabled platforms, predictive analytics, or digital commercial tools is a strong advantage.
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and executive stakeholders.
    • Experience managing multi-stakeholder client engagements with strong ownership and independence.
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business, economics, life sciences, engineering, or related fields.
    • Benefits:

      • Remote-first working model with flexibility across Canada and the U.S.
      • Competitive compensation package including base salary and performance-based incentives.
      • Meaningful stock option grants with long-term value participation.
      • Comprehensive health and dental benefits from day one.
      • Flexible time-off policy supporting work-life balance.
      • Exposure to cutting-edge AI-driven commercial intelligence platforms in life sciences.
      • Opportunity to work directly with senior leaders across pharma and healthcare industries.
      • Travel opportunities across Canada and the U.S. for client engagements and industry events.
      • Collaborative, values-driven culture focused on innovation, ownership, and impact.
