Job Summary

As a Compliance Analyst, you will have a key role in helping to mitigate risk for BeyondTrust by maintaining company policies and procedures.  This includes ongoing activities related to the development, audit, and implementation aligned with Governance, Risk and Compliance initiatives. This is a project driven role requiring attention to detail; day-to-day activities include editing and authoring technical documentation while assisting in tasks relating to GRC's external audits, continuous risk assessment, security and privacy control reviews, and platform integrations such as the ServiceNow GRC module.You will also have the opportunity to collaborate across BeyondTrust in support of information and GRC management solutions and implementation efforts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

• Collect compliance evidence to support a variety of legal, operational, and security requirements relating to GRC's external audit programs
• Perform risk discovery and assessments aligned with information systems, business operations, and vendor onboarding
• Assist in building out ServiceNow GRC module
• Interpret and communicate compliance requirements to responsible business units while identifying gaps between compliance and audit requirements.
• Lead and participate in high-level stakeholder meetings
• Coordinate and research requests from the organization regarding security, compliance, and privacy-related questions
• Assist in the update and review of Policies, Standards, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) in accordance with applicable compliance and/or regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Strong listening, written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
• Familiarity with industry regulations and frameworks such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST 800-53/800-171 and RMF
• Experience in compliance management related activities such as Policy, Standards and Procedure documentation
• Strong problem solving, decision making, and organizational skills
• Technical skills working with the MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote)
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams, managing multiple projects simultaneously while under firm deadlines
• Ability to interpret technical data such as application logs, architecture diagrams, technical reports

Desirable Skills but not Required

• Bachelor’s degree
• 2 or more years of Compliance experience
• Experience supporting Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure) and/or Software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications
