Overview We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in concrete work, with the ability to read blueprints and schematics. This role involves working with various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality finishes on concrete surfaces. The Concrete Finisher will play a crucial role in the construction process, contributing to the successful completion of projects. Responsibilities • Interpret and work from blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications. • Prepare and set up forms for concrete pouring, ensuring proper alignment and stability. • Operate heavy equipment such as concrete mixers and other machinery as needed. • Pour, spread, and finish concrete using hand tools and power tools to achieve desired textures and finishes. • Perform heavy lifting as required during the mixing, pouring, and finishing processes. • Collaborate with carpenters and other construction professionals to ensure cohesive workflow on-site. • Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, making adjustments as necessary. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and guidelines. Requirements • Proven experience as a Concrete Finisher or similar role in construction. • Strong skills in blueprint reading and understanding of schematics. • Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the workday. • Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and flooring installation processes. • Mechanical knowledge related to operating heavy equipment safely and effectively. • Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team environment.
