About the Role:
Matterport is looking to hire a Contractor Technical Revenue Manager to join our growing Accounting and Finance team to support our business growth. As a key member of our revenue recognition team, you will be responsible for reviewing and documenting complex strategic contracts and be a key resource to business partners. You will also research, document, and implement revenue accounting policies.

What you will do:
- Draft and implement accounting policies under ASC 606Â
- Research and document technical conclusions and develop analyses to support critical estimates
- Support acquisition integration from a revenue perspective, as necessary
- Provide support and assistance in determining proper accounting for products and services, including new product introductions
- Be a key business partner to discuss customer terms and conditions with key partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build business processes to scale and support implementing systems/tools as needed. Drive solutions and build business requirements that scale
- Support monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue accounting close efforts, including preparation of quarterly and annual revenue-related footnotes in Forms 10-Q and 10-K
- Support revenue operations and accounts receivable teams, as necessary
- Assist in managing internal controls and support SOX compliance for the order to cash process, including updating controls matrices, narratives, flowcharts, etc.
- Support quarterly review activities and annual audit with external auditors
Who you are:
- Demonstrated deep technical understanding of ASC 606
- 6+ years of revenue accounting experience (high-growth SAAS company experience is a must)
- Big 4 CPA is a plus
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Detailed-oriented and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to work with little to no supervision and in a team environment
- Proven experience successfully managing a team

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $93,800 to $117,300 + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
