About the Role

Fivetran was recently named to the Cloud 100 list as one of the hottest cloud software companies today. We're looking for a detail-oriented Contracts Administrator to join our global SaaS company and growing legal team. This person will be a key team player supporting our rapidly growing go-to-market team, and can be based remotely, or out of either our Oakland or Denver offices (preferred).
What You'll Do

• An unparalleled opportunity to bring your commercial contracts skills and business acumen to help us meet the expanding needs of our company and our customers within a fast-moving, focused, and collaborative environment.
• Review and negotiate inbound vendor agreements of all types, working closely with the Procurement team and Sr. Counsel on ensuring that all agreements meet Fivetran requirements.
• Review and negotiate NDA's for all company departments.
• Support Marketing on events, sponsorship and other demand generation agreements.
• Assist with due diligence and compliance responsibilities relating to the Commercial Legal function.
• Assist as needed with commercial contracts, including administration of master subscription agreements, DPA's and all types of amendments.
• Respond to a range of questions, and provide support to business partners, regarding Fivetran's commercial contracts, negotiating positions, and related processes.
• Help build and maintain contracting playbooks, contract templates and clause libraries, legal process wikis, training materials, and other tools to help scale the legal function.
• Lead or assist with projects to increase the efficiency of the commercial legal function.
• The ability to thrive in an ever-changing environment that's filled with ambiguity and to independently manage multiple projects with competing deadlines;
• Other special projects given your interest areas and the needs of a rapidly scaling company & team

Skills We're Looking For

• Experience with commercial contracts, including administration of master subscription agreements, NDAs, DPA's and all types of amendments.
• 4+ years of in-house contracts management experience, including experience with a SaaS or other technology company.
• Cross-functional experience working with stakeholders such as Finance, Security or Privacy on contract requirements;
• Prolific documenter of processes, business rules, FAQ's, and other supporting documentation for internal and external consumption.
• A process and detail-oriented contracts administrator who can assist or lead on a broad range of commercial contract duties.
• Ability to draft and negotiate a broad range of inbound and outbound agreements.
• The ability to issue spot and assess legal risks and communicate both to business partners in straight forward terms (non-legalese).
• A proactive, can-do approach to contract administration, focused on practical solutions and out-of-the-box thinking.
• Excellent bedside manner with internal and external clients is essential;
• A belief and practice that no task is too big or too small
• A customer service orientation and attention to detail
• Curiosity that drives a desire to learn new contexts and communication styles;
• Comfort with fast-paced environments and openness to change
