This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Copy Editor based in the United States.

This role is central to maintaining the clarity, consistency, and quality of a high-volume, high-impact content ecosystem spanning marketing, product storytelling, and customer communications. You will ensure that every published piece reflects a precise, trusted, and cohesive brand voice across multiple channels and formats. The work covers everything from long-form editorial content to performance marketing assets, requiring both linguistic precision and strategic awareness. You will collaborate closely with writers, marketers, designers, and product teams in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment. Beyond editing, you will help shape editorial standards, refine style guidelines, and evolve content quality systems at scale. This is a role for someone who enjoys elevating writing quality while improving how editorial teams operate. Your impact will be felt across global communications that reach millions of users.

Accountabilities:

Ensure all marketing and editorial content meets the highest standards of clarity, consistency, and brand voice across diverse formats and channels.

  • Copy edit a wide range of content including blog posts, guides, reports, emails, web pages, ads, customer stories, and scripts
  • Enforce and refine style, grammar, tone, and terminology guidelines while ensuring consistency across all outputs
  • Translate complex or technical language into clear, accessible, and engaging prose
  • Continuously update and improve the internal style guide and editorial documentation as standards evolve
  • Collaborate with marketing, product, design, and regional teams to ensure content accuracy and contextual relevance
  • Improve editorial workflows, including intake, review queues, and quality assurance processes to support scalability
  • Support the integration and optimization of AI-assisted writing and editing tools within the editorial workflow
  • Maintain high editorial throughput while ensuring quality does not degrade as volume increases
  • Requirements:

    Experienced copy editor with strong mastery of language, editorial standards, and cross-channel marketing content.

    • 5+ years of professional copy editing experience across multiple content formats and channels
    • Experience working in marketing, communications, publishing, or similar content-driven environments
    • Strong command of grammar, syntax, tone, and voice adaptation across audiences and formats
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including regional or global stakeholders
    • Ability to simplify complex concepts and improve clarity without losing meaning or intent
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, English, Creative Writing, or related field
    • Strong attention to detail combined with a strategic mindset for content quality and consistency
    • Preferred: experience with B2B marketing content, technical writing, or product-related content
    • Preferred: familiarity with tools such as Google Analytics, Tableau, Asana, or Jira
    • Preferred: experience working alongside design or creative teams
