This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Corporate Finance Manager based in Canada.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead corporate financial planning activities, including monthly forecasting, annual planning, and long-range strategic planning processes.
  • Build consolidated financial analyses, identify key business drivers, and provide leadership with clear insights into performance trends and opportunities.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to analyze budget variances, improve financial visibility, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Develop executive-level reporting across revenue, expenses, headcount, and other key business metrics.
  • Own and optimize financial planning systems, including model logic, assumptions, reporting structures, and process improvements.
  • Identify operational inefficiencies and implement automation, data improvements, and scalable solutions to enhance finance workflows.
  • Serve as a finance partner to People and Talent teams by managing workforce planning, headcount analysis, hiring reporting, and related financial initiatives.
  • Support investor relations activities, quarterly reporting cycles, cash flow forecasting, and other strategic finance projects.
  • Build financial models and perform ad-hoc analyses to answer complex business questions with speed and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable financial recommendations.
  • Requirements:

    • 6–8 years of experience in corporate finance, FP&A, or related finance functions, ideally within a public company or high-growth technology environment.
    • Strong experience developing financial models, forecasts, budgets, and executive-level reporting.
    • Proven ability to analyze complex data, identify business insights, and communicate recommendations effectively.
    • Experience managing financial planning platforms such as Pigment, Adaptive, or similar enterprise planning tools.
    • Strong understanding of financial systems, data structures, and process optimization.
    • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial concepts clearly to senior stakeholders.
    • Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to maintain a broad strategic perspective.
    • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
    • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and influencing stakeholders across different business areas.
    • Curiosity and willingness to leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to improve productivity and decision-making.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA is considered an advantage.
    • Experience with SQL, Databricks, Snowflake, M&A integration, investor relations, or three-statement modeling is a plus.
