Job description

Team: Marketing

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Lead (Performance & Strategy) based in Canada.

This role sits at the intersection of creative strategy, performance marketing, and production excellence within a fast-moving social-first environment. You will shape the creative direction of high-performing short-form ads across platforms like TikTok and Meta, ensuring every concept is both strategically sound and production-ready. Acting as a key bridge between strategy and production teams, you will elevate execution quality while strengthening consistency across output at scale. The role combines hands-on creative judgment with systems thinking, helping define what “great” looks like and how it is consistently achieved. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, guiding briefs, reviewing assets, and improving workflows that directly impact campaign performance. This is a high-impact position for someone who thrives in fast-paced, performance-driven creative environments and wants to shape the standard of social advertising at scale.

Accountabilities:

You will own the end-to-end creative quality across performance-driven content, ensuring all outputs meet a high bar from concept through final delivery. You will define standards, refine workflows, and act as the final layer of creative quality control before client delivery.

  • Establish and uphold creative standards across all ad content, from strategy to final production output
  • Review creative strategy documents, scripts, storyboards, raw footage, and final edits, providing precise, actionable feedback
  • Build scalable systems such as checklists, creative frameworks, and ad libraries to maintain consistency and improve team output
  • Translate strategy into production-ready direction while ensuring production realities are reflected back into planning
  • Facilitate alignment between strategy and production teams to ensure seamless execution of creative briefs
  • Identify breakdowns in workflows and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and collaboration
  • Lead creative intelligence efforts by monitoring platform trends and translating insights into actionable guidance for teams
  • Support key client relationships by contributing to strategic creative discussions and elevating creative expectations
  • Oversee internal creative output and ensure external-facing content reflects the highest creative standards
  • Requirements

You bring strong experience across performance creative, content strategy, and production environments, ideally within social-first agencies, DTC brands, or digital studios. You combine strong creative instincts with structured thinking and can operate comfortably across both strategy and execution.

    • 4–8 years of experience in performance creative, creative strategy, or content production within fast-paced digital environments
    • Proven ability to work across both strategy and production, understanding how ideas translate into real-world shoots and edits
    • Deep expertise in TikTok and Meta platforms, with strong awareness of formats, hooks, pacing, and performance drivers
    • Strong creative judgment with the ability to distinguish high-performing ads and clearly articulate why they work
    • Experience building systems, frameworks, or SOPs to improve creative consistency and operational efficiency
    • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to influence teams without relying on formal authority
    • Comfortable working in fast-moving, iterative environments where systems are still evolving
    • Confident presenting creative rationale to clients and stakeholders in a clear and structured way
    • Fluent in English, with strong storytelling and articulation skills
    • Benefits

      • Competitive salary aligned with experience and impact
      • Remote-first working model within Canada
      • Flexible working structure supporting work-life balance
      • Health and wellness support, including stipends for mental health and healthcare
      • Internet stipend to support remote work setup
      • Paid time off: 21 vacation days + 7 paid sick days annually
      • Company-wide closure period over the holiday season (approximately two weeks)
      • Maternity and paternity leave benefits
      • Annual salary review based on performance and contribution
      • Long-service incentives starting from 2 years of tenure.
