Custodian, Per Diem

Description Under the direct supervision of the Patient Services Manager and Patient Services Supervisors, you will perform a variety of cleaning and sanitation duties to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. Responsibilities include: • Sweep, mop, scrub, strip, and wax floors as assigned. • Wash walls, doors, windows, light fixtures, and discard trash in waste bins. • Clean, sanitize, and reline all trash containers and linen hampers. • Wash and steam rubber floor mats. • Properly clean, store, and maintain housekeeping equipment, and report any malfunctions to the supervisor on duty. • Wash dishes, pans, utensils, and small equipment according to established procedures. • Follow all prescribed safety and sanitation practices and procedures. Salary Range: $27.09-$27.09/hr Qualifications • Ability to read and write, and to follow oral and written instructions in English. • Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time and to stretch, bend, stoop, and reach repeatedly. • Ability to work in hot, cold, and/or wet environments. • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and push loaded carts weighing up to 350 lbs. • Ability to comply with dress code requirements and work in a non-smoking environment. • Ability to practice safe food-handling techniques and maintain good personal hygiene. • Ability to adjust to fluctuating workloads and adhere to production schedules. • Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively with co-workers, customers, supervisors, and managers.
