This position will be responsible for the development and implementation of the organization's marketing campaigns to help attract new business and increase company recognition by using online and offline media channels effectively. This position will collaborate with internal partners, such as Product Marketing Managers, Account Managers, VitalSight team members and Quality/Regulatory team members to assure accuracy of messaging and claims and to develop standard work as necessary. You will also work with external partners/agencies (PR, consumer/healthcare marketing, digital marketing) to assist, shape and execute the campaigns to, ultimately, drive customer engagement. The goal is to deliver effective marketing programs that will enhance our brand reputation, foster HCP recommendations, and drive conversion.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop, lead and implement an overall content strategy that drives business success for our digital app OMRON connect and evaluate the efficacy of the strategies employed by using metrics
  • Produce high-quality content for marketing materials and marketing communications in support of company product lines
  • Facilitate ongoing planning of content for assignments and manage day-to-day creation of messaging with emphasis on storytelling
  • Manage department's internal video production, editing, equipment, voiceover talent as well as creating standard work for internal/external videos
  • Collaborate with product management to explore appropriate channels and messaging that builds an audience
  • Consult with colleagues on messaging funnel and appropriate targeting of messages
  • Liaise with external vendors to execute promotional events and campaigns for our product and service lines
  • Create, coordinate and develop marketing campaigns that deliver on end business goals and reach key performance indicators
  • Support other lines of business in securing/managing necessary marketing assets, including key brand assets, stock imagery, product imagery, etc.
  • Ensure all marketing content is consistent and on brand with global branding guidelines
  • Produce standard work for processes used cross-functionally and intradepartmentally
  • Work with cross-functional partners to manage and deliver on key project elements related to campaigns to assure that project deadlines are met
  • Organize and participate in trade shows, including general planning, conceptual/strategic development, hotel planning, exhibit company management, etc.
  • Other duties, as assigned


EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in marketing, communications or related field.

Experience:

  • 8-10 years of experience in marketing role, with emphasis on content development and messaging
  • Experience in working with outside marketing agencies
  • Experience in trade show coordination
  • Preferred experience with consumer packaged goods; healthcare related products

Technical Abilities:

  • Experience with common marketing communications software packages and strong computer skills including MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Proficient with Creative Suite (Adobe Photoshop, InDesign Illustrator) a plus
  • Smartsheet experience preferred
  • Demonstrated/Proficient writing and oral communications skills; writing samples required
  • Able to learn and adapt to new software based systems
