Action Engraving provides engraved labels, wall plates, and decals used in commercial electrical construction. With more than 30 years in business, we are a fast-paced, detail-driven company known for precision work, fast turnaround times, and exceptional customer service.
We are looking for a Customer Engagement & Graphic Design Specialist to join our team and support daily order processing. This role is equal parts customer communication, order comprehension, graphic layout, and production coordination. It is not a creative design role — instead, it focuses on accurate, detail-oriented layout work in CorelDraw that ensures each order is produced to exact specifications.

Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to customer requests for quotes and orders
• Interpret and process customer orders with accuracy and attention to detail
• Create job layouts in CorelDraw based on customer specifications
• Manage front-end order fulfillment — ensuring jobs are processed on time and correctly
• Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email — resolving questions and issues quickly and professionally
• Keep accurate records of customer interactions and order progress
• Proactively follow up on open jobs, customer inquiries, and potential sales opportunities
• Maintain a clear, organized workflow to manage multiple orders and deadlines efficiently
Experience:
• Strong verbal and written communication skills — professional, clear, and customer-friendly
• Highly organized, efficient, and proactive — able to manage priorities and deadlines independently
• Problem-solving mindset — able to resolve customer questions and order issues with minimal supervision
• Experience with graphic design programs, specifically CorelDraw
• Familiarity with CRM software (Salesforce experience preferred)
• Prior experience in customer service, inside sales, or order management
• Ability to accurately interpret customer orders and technical requirements
• Knowledge of electrical construction, and/or experience with engraving is a plus but not required
Hours:
This is an in office, hourly full-time position - Hours are 11am-7pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
