We are looking for a dedicated and results-driven Customer Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a Customer Engagement Specialist, your primary goal will be to develop and implement strategies to retain and maximize the lifetime value of our existing software customer base. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer-centric mindset, excellent communication skills, and the capacity to operate in a fluid and fast-paced environment.

What You'll Do:

  • Monitor and identify customers who are at risk of leaving by analyzing customer data, usage patterns, and customer feedback.
  • Reach out to at-risk customers through various channels (e.g., phone, email, in-app messages) to understand their concerns, reasons for potential churn, and overall experience with our products or services.
  • Demonstrate empathy and actively listen to customers, ensuring they feel heard, understood, and valued.
  • Present solutions and benefits that address the specific concerns of at-risk customers, focusing on the value our products or services bring to their business.
  • Provide product education and guidance to customers to maximize the value they derive from our offerings.
  • Escalate customer issues and concerns to the appropriate teams, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Document customer interactions, feedback, and outcomes in Salesforce to track progress and provide insights for future customer retention strategies.

About You:

  • 1+ years of experience in customer retention, or a related customer-facing role, preferably in a B2B, SaaS, or fintech environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers.
  • Ability to interpret data and metrics, derive insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or capacity to learn new systems
  • Ability to adapt and work efficiently in a rapidly changing dynamic team environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences and a genuine desire to help customers achieve their goals.
