Job Description
As a member of the Data Team at Going, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of applying data and analytics to solve interesting and complex problems. You will independently deliver insightful analytics to all business domains and partner with the Data Analytics and Data Services teams to ensure that data is accurate and accessible. You'll have the opportunity to work on varied tasks, such as improving data utility and ensuring data maturity. This is a high-visibility role where you'll gain invaluable experience collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders across various departments that rely on our data insights.

In the short term, you will:Learn the data ecosystem, data model structure, and core systems used and maintained by the Data Team, and understand the critical needs of the business.
Field, scope, and prioritize data and reporting requests from stakeholders.
Achieve expertise in Preset (data visualization and reporting tool).
Semi-independently manage reports and project requests from start to finish.
Own Preset as a system, including data validation, semantic layer management, report and project archiving, integrity and recency validation, and maintaining all core reporting dashboards.
Independently manage reports and project requests from start to finish.
Provide analytics and systems training for new and existing employees.
Identify opportunities and implement solutions to move Going forward in the data maturity model.
Extensive experience writing and modifying advanced SQL queries. We live in SQL here.
2-5 years experience working for a technology, SaaS, or subscription business. Startup experience is a plus.
Experience working with some or all of these: financial metrics, product analytics, marketing analytics, email marketing, mobile app data.
Experience clearly and concisely presenting complex findings and providing actionable solutions for stakeholders.
Professional experience engaging stakeholders at all levels to understand questions and business problems, setting expectations with stakeholders, pushing back on stakeholders, and prioritizing work.
Knowledge of the financial levers of success for technology, SaaS, or subscription business.
Experience using advanced functionality of a visualization platform. Any platform is fine; we use Preset.
Experience with data validation and auditing.
Experience independently managing analytical projects from start to finish.
You’re legally authorized to work in the United States and able to work US hours.

This role will report to Laura Cissell-Wyberneit
You’ll work closely with Pedro Pereira, Julie Watt, Erica Carter, and Caitlin Zarrella
You’ll also work with members of our leadership team like David Krell, Derek Cann, and Brian Kidwell
The salary for this role is $99,446 + equity.
