Data Analyst

In August 2020, Cisco Systems completed the acquisition of ThousandEyes, which now forms the ThousandEyes Business Unit within Cisco’s Network Services Business Group, and is a foundational component of Cisco’s growing Observability business.

Do you love working with data? Are you passionate about turning complex data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions? We are seeking a highly motivated Data Analyst who will be part of the Sales Operations team in our Mexico City office.

This team is the interface between our technical teams and sales/business partners. We work with management to prioritize their business and information needs.

You have the ability to handle and lead multiple projects. You will be a master at understanding and deciphering large data sets for insights relevant to the business. In addition, you possess good communication skills (written and verbal). You are customer-focused, strive for professionalism at all times, and possess a high intellectual curiosity with an ability to learn new concepts/frameworks and technology quickly as changes arise.

• You will add value in the form of data validation and internal data compliance
• You will acquire data from primary or secondary data sources and maintain databases/data systems
• You will identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns within our data sets
• You will filter and “clean” data by reviewing internal and 3rd party reports, to locate and correct consistent issues
• You will become technically proficient with Salesforce.com and other sales systems
• Maintain sales data/information compliance and CRM database integrity
• You will present data to internal and external stakeholders

• College degree preferred
• 1+ years work experience within a sales support or data analyst role
• Strong attention to detail and problem solving skills
• Strong design and analytical skills
• Experience with MS Office Suite required, Salesforce.com and DemandTools preferred
• Adept at queries, report writing and presenting findings
• Comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced team environment
• Strong proficiency in written and verbal English
