Data Integration Engineer III

What will YOU be doing for us? Design, implement, maintain, and support Data Integration tools and processes/pipelines used to load data warehouse solution. Build data integration processes/pipelines to meet the requirements of the business including internal departments and external clients. 

What will YOU be working on every day?

• Working with System Engineers, Install, maintain, configure, and document new Data Integration Servers and related infrastructure

• Implement, monitor, maintain, and support Data Integration processes/pipelines that transfer data inside and outside of the organization

• Act as the first level of operational triage support working in partnership with internal team members to investigate and fix data integration defects

• Work collaboratively with System Engineers and Database Administrators to specify technical and business requirements for new client data integrations.

• Act as the first level of operational support for existing client data integrations

• Design and implement new Data Integration API automation scripts and maintain current automation scripts to support existing needs

• Properly communicate technical information to internal and external clients to ensure shared understanding

• Actively participate on an agile scrum team, sizing work efforts, decomposing tasks and iteratively delivering software

• Participate in software release and post release activities

• Have a reasonable understanding of core engineering concepts

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be GOOD candidate?

• Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related degree or equivalent years of internal experience.

• Required Level of Experience

  • 3 years of experience in a Data Integration (System) Engineer role using commercial data integration software (e.g. Qlik Replicate, Fivetran)
    AND/OR

  • 5 years of experience in a database administrator/developer or .NET application developer role

• Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Independent research and analysis capabilities

  • API script design and implementation (e.g. PowerShell or other programming/scripting language)

  • Knowledge of SQL Querying including joins, filtering, and merge supporting data integration sourcing and troubleshooting data results

  • Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to others.

  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of individuals and communication styles.

  • Strong independent problem solving skills.

  • Strong written and verbal skills especially with external clients

  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps or other ALM/Source Control Software

What qualifications do YOU need to have to be a GREAT candidate?

• Preferred Level of Experience

  • Previous healthcare management experience.

• Preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of Qlik Data Integration (Replicate, Compose and Enterprise Manager) or similar data integration tools

  • Knowledge of SQL Server Distribution and Replication or similar.

The salary range and midpoint is listed below for your reference. Please keep in mind that your education and experience along with your knowledge, skills and abilities are taken into consideration when determining placement within the range.

Compensation Range:

$98,413.00 - $147,619.00

Compensation Midpoint:

$123,016.00
