As a Product Data Scientist at McAfee, you will be responsible for partnering with Product Mangers to own data analysis for McAfee product features. You will be developing analyses and insights to support product decision-making via A/B testing and advanced analytics. You will analyze feature adoption, product engagement, retention, product funnel plus other pertinent aspects of product launch and operation.
This is a remote position based in the United States. We will only consider candidates in the United States, and we are not offering relocation assistance at this time.

About the Role:
- Provide actionable insights via product analytics, A/B testing, and machine learning to improve customer experience and optimize business outcomes.
- Assists business with casual inferences & observations with finding patterns relationships in data.
- Assist Product & other stakeholder teams in developing methodologies/framework to assess and measure impact of our business strategy.
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Engineering & other stakeholders to communicate insights and influence their decision-making.
- Analyze user journey and product funnel to optimize user experience with McAfee products.
- Work with experimentation data scientists to design and execute A/B testing.
- Isolate, identify and communicate data issues and own data quality for the analyses and reports produced.
- Monitor and analyze data reports/dashboards/pipelines and do RCA & troubleshooting of issues that arise.
About you:
- 3+ years of industry experience in data science and analytics.
- Self-motivated, responsible, collaborative, and accountable.
- Experience with causal inference methods, such as difference in difference, matching, regression discontinuity designs, instrumental variables, including an understanding of different treatment effects.
- Experience with the design and analysis of A/B testing.
- Ability to develop confidently in SQL and Python.
- Previous product analytics experience where telemetry data was used to understand how customers interacted with a product or service, which features were most used, and what experiences led to customer friction or trouble.
