This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Desenvolvedor(a) PLSQL Sênior in Brazil.
This role is focused on building and optimizing high-performance data solutions that support critical industrial and analytical systems. You will work on the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle PL/SQL applications that power data-driven decision-making and operational efficiency. Acting within a highly technical and collaborative environment, you will design complex queries, stored procedures, and ETL processes to ensure reliable data flow across systems. The position also involves performance tuning and optimization of databases to guarantee scalability and stability in large-scale environments. You will contribute directly to the creation of data models and BI-ready structures that support analytics and reporting needs. This is a hands-on technical role with strong impact on data architecture, system performance, and business intelligence capabilities.
Accountabilities:
- Develop, maintain, and support Oracle PL/SQL applications aligned with business and technical requirements.
- Design and optimize complex SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE), views, procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Build and enhance stored procedures, functions, and ETL processes for data integration and transformation.
- Support data extraction, processing, and manipulation from multiple file formats such as CSV, XLS, and TXT.
- Analyze and resolve performance issues in queries, databases, and data processing workflows.
- Contribute to data warehouse modeling, including dimensional modeling and BI architecture support.
- Perform database tuning activities, including indexing, partitioning, and query execution plan optimization.
- Support reporting and analytics initiatives by providing reliable data structures and datasets.
- Strong experience with Oracle PL/SQL development in complex environments.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL, including query optimization and performance tuning.
- Experience developing and maintaining stored procedures, functions, views, and triggers.
- Solid knowledge of ETL processes, data integration, and transformation pipelines.
- Experience with data manipulation across formats such as CSV, XLS, and TXT.
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts and dimensional modeling.
- Experience with database tuning techniques such as indexing, partitioning, and execution plans.
- Understanding of BI systems and data architecture principles.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills in data-intensive environments.
- Ability to work in collaborative technical teams with focus on delivery and performance.
