Job description Legacy Healing Center CA is seeking a Psychiatric RN/LPN to work in our Detox Facility. Main Duties & Responsibilities : • Completes nursing and mental health assessments • Develop care plans and medical/psychiatric treatment plans for clients. Add items to the treatment plan problem lists • Nutritional Assessments • Obtain vitals and recognize abnormalities • Observe and report behavioral changes • Provide nursing/psychiatric education to clients • Conduct pain screens • Conduct Communicable Disease Assessments • Review and process new client intake medications • Assist client that need to monitor BP, sugar, and other medical related items • Conduct medication audits to track and monitor when refills are needed • Liaison with pharmacy/collaborates with pharmacy for medication fills/deliveries • Create lab orders based on physician requests • Liaison to Lab for collaboration and scheduling • Lab result review and triage for follow ups needed • Smoking cessation screening and education • Wound care/basic life support triage and referral for Urgent Care/ER • Referral and Care Coordination for Specialists (in conjunction with Case Management) • Triage clients for Psychiatric APN assessments/appointments • Track and report monthly PI data related to medical/psychiatric services (medications, infection control) • Crisis de-escalation • Occasionally run groups related to medical/psychiatric topics • Work within a multi-disciplinary team to encompass a comprehensive approach for treatment of clients throughout the duration of their care episode • Help clients improve their coping abilities • Work with clients and their families to help improve the clients abilities, and help them deal with family member's Substance Use and/or mental illness • Record all care information accurately and completely within 24 hours in the appropriate format and on appropriate forms within the EHR • Communicate eating disorder, medication non-compliance, suicidal/homicidal history and/or current concerns to the Clinical Director/designee accordingly • Perform other position-related duties as assigned Legacy Healing Center is an EOE & DFWP Medical specialties: • Addiction Medicine • Primary Care • Psychiatry Work setting: • Inpatient Detox Job Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour Ability to Commute: • Los Angeles, CA 90046 Work Location: In person Pay: $35.00 - $55.00 per hour Work Location: In person
