We’re looking for our first Developer Evangelist to join our Content & Community team. Reporting to our Head of Content and Community, this role will be responsible for acting as the pulse of our developer community in conjunction with our Technical Developer Relations team. This role will be a critical member of our active developer communities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the conversation around the latest technology advancements and best practices in the developer community
- Create engaging content, including technical talks, blog posts, demos, and videos, that educates developers on important technologies and trends
- Support Fingerprint’s product and engineering efforts by sharing what you learn while engaging with the wider community
- Attend virtual and in-person events within the developer community that best match our target audiences.
- Provide insights to improve our product messaging and positioning to our developer audiences.
- Share product feedback with appropriate internal stakeholders regularly.
Requirements:
- Experience building software and contributing to open source in the cloud computing ecosystem
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in developer or community marketing, community management, technical product marketing, software development, or developer advocacy/relations
- At least 1 year of experience developing demos, workshops, webinars, videos, and other technical content
- Experience working at a technical software startup
- Knowledge of Discord, GitHub, and Reddit best practices
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills with the ability to translate complex technology concepts into simple and intuitive communications
