DevOps/Cloud Engineer

You're a great fit if you: 

• Are a detail-oriented person with excellent communication skills 
• Can manage a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies 
• Are skilled at core AWS services 
• Are a problem solver, able to troubleshoot and resolve problems with distributed systems 

You'll love our position if you have (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit): 

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience 
• 5 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering 
• A developer background and insider understanding how DevSecOps integrates with developers. 
• Hands-on engineer or coder with experience in Linux, Python, CI/CD tools and other open source technologies 
• The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance 

We'll REALLY love you if you have (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out): 

• Technical certifications (e.g., Security +, Microsoft, RHEL, and/or AWS)
• Experience with data security requirements aligned with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), FISMA, NIST and/or FedRAMP compliance
• Experience with monitoring solutions 
• Experience with container solutions like Docker and Kubernetes 

What your day will look like: 

• You'll support Treasury in the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure 
• You'll be responsible for the build, release, and management of the cloud configuration for production systems 
• You’ll also provide guidance and direction for infrastructure capacity planning, implementing network security principles, and using general network management best practices
