- Are a problem solver, able to troubleshoot and resolve problems with distributed systems
You'll love our position if you have (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit):
- A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or the equivalent combination of education and work experience
- 5 years of experience in AWS cloud engineering
- A developer background and insider understanding how DevSecOps integrates with developers.
- Hands-on engineer or coder with experience in Linux, Python, CI/CD tools and other open source technologies
- The ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance
We'll REALLY love you if you have (This is the bonus stuff that makes you stand out):
- Technical certifications (e.g., Security +, Microsoft, RHEL, and/or AWS)
- Experience with data security requirements aligned with DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs), FISMA, NIST and/or FedRAMP compliance
- Experience with monitoring solutions
- Experience with container solutions like Docker and Kubernetes
What your day will look like:
- You'll support Treasury in the planning, implementation, and growth of the AWS cloud infrastructure
- You'll be responsible for the build, release, and management of the cloud configuration for production systems
- You’ll also provide guidance and direction for infrastructure capacity planning, implementing network security principles, and using general network management best practices
