The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates exterior trim modular systems front-end modules including fascia active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive commercial truck and other industrial markets.

Job Responsibilities:

Material Flow Optimization: Analyze current-state material movement from receiving through shipping to identify bottlenecks and eliminate waste using lean tools such as value-stream mapping spaghetti diagrams time studies and line balancing.
Material Handling Systems: Design select and implement efficient material handling methods and equipment including AGVs/AMRs tugger routes forklifts flow racks point-of-use storage and ergonomic dunnage/packaging solutions.
Process & Layout Improvements: Support plant layout changes new product launches and workstation redesigns by defining optimal material presentation replenishment strategies and supermarket structures.
Continuous Improvement: Lead or participate in kaizen events focused on improving internal logistics material flow ergonomics and delivery accuracy. Drive standard work development and visual management improvements.
Collaboration & Communication: Work cross-functionally with Production Logistics Supply Chain Quality and Maintenance teams to resolve material flow issues implement system changes and ensure smooth operational execution.
Safety & Compliance: Conduct risk assessments and ensure all material movement processes comply with safety ergonomic and regulatory standards. Support improvement initiatives that reduce handling risks and improve workplace safety.
