As our Digital Project Manager, you will…
Be Accountable and Responsible
- Build and manage expectations and develop a scope of work, timeline, project plans and budget.
- Proactively manage changes in the project while devising alternative solutions
- Communicate to client leadership team by keeping them informed of progress, impending changes, agreed maintenance, etc.
- Monitor and update project burn rate report to ensure project stays within the committed budget and hour scope
- Provide frequent progress reports
- Has financial oversight at the project and/or scope of work level working with Client Service and Finance leads to regularly review budget reports.
- Provide work direction for project team members
- Leads and inspires the team as well as involves people at the optimal levels for project success and overall team utilization.
- Manage and help prioritize day-to-day client requests and deliverables
- Create and maintain the project plan, team assignments, and due dates in the project management system for ongoing client-facing and internal team deliverables
- Assist Account Director and Operations Directors with allocation of resources and budgets
- Schedules all necessary internal key touchpoint meetings throughout the project lifecycle - kick off, internal reviews, status, progress meetings, production, and development check points, etc.
- Lead or co-lead client account team meetings, both internal and external, with Channel Leads or Account Director
- Works as liaison/communications hub between all agency team members.
- Keeps projects on track using clear written and verbal communications including status reports, and meeting notes.
- Keeps project files organized using provided agency tools and resources.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement to agency processes.
- Collaborate with Account Director in creating client-facing presentations & quarterly project roadmaps
- Maintain specific technical knowledge of the client’s systems and infrastructure and how our services relate to their business strategy and goals
These are the qualifications we’re looking for
- Proficiency with digital marketing tactics, including paid search, SEO, affiliate marketing, email marketing, and display advertising
- Minimum 3+ years in project management
- Effective understanding of the various production disciplines: print, digital and video
- Proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe, etc.)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with financial management and using project management software
- Self-motivated, quick, and assertive
- Exceptional time management skills
- Extremely detail oriented and organized
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at the same time
Compensation: $65,000 - $80,000
Salary differential is based on seniority, merit, education, training and experience. MERGE’s career ladders reflect department growth from Associate through Partner levels, with details of roles and responsibilities associated with each level. New hires are assigned a job level within a particular position based on these criteria and salary is set within the job level based on these criteria. Growth from one level to the next occurs when employees master their role, and are promoted into the next level, generally during salary review cycles which are posted in the employee handbook.
