This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Directeur (-trice) Finance et Stratégie, HTS // Finance & Strategy Manager, HTS based in Canada.

Accountabilities:

The Finance & Strategy Manager, HTS will act as a strategic partner to business leaders, supporting decision-making through financial modeling, forecasting, automation, and performance analysis. The role combines finance, technology, and business strategy to create scalable tools and insights that support long-term growth.

  • Partner with business leaders to develop financial models that translate operational drivers into clear strategic recommendations.
  • Design and maintain long-range forecasting models and planning tools that support multi-year business strategies.
  • Build predictive financial models using AI-enabled approaches to simulate scenarios, assess risks, and support decision-making.
  • Develop and improve finance systems, workflows, and reporting infrastructure through automation and technology solutions.
  • Use AI tools and advanced technologies to optimize SQL workflows, reporting processes, and financial analysis.
  • Create scalable dashboards and performance reporting tools that provide real-time business visibility.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales and Media, to support forecasting, unit economics, and performance tracking.
  • Analyze business trends and financial data to identify opportunities, risks, and strategic priorities.
  • Bring structured problem-solving approaches to complex and high-impact business questions.
  • Continuously improve FP&A processes by introducing innovative tools, automation, and data-driven methodologies.
  • Requirements:

    The ideal candidate is a finance and strategy professional with strong analytical capabilities, technical curiosity, and experience operating in high-growth technology environments. You should be comfortable combining traditional financial expertise with AI-driven tools and modern data practices.

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Finance, Mathematics, Engineering, or another quantitative discipline.
    • 5–7+ years of experience in a leading technology company or similarly fast-paced environment.
    • Experience in investment banking or a comparable analytical environment is preferred.
    • Strong experience building financial models, including three-statement modeling and long-term forecasting.
    • Proven ability to use AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot to improve productivity and automate workflows.
    • Ability to leverage AI to create, optimize, and improve SQL-based solutions and financial processes.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems creatively.
    • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across teams.
    • Ability to work effectively in an international business environment.
    • Professional proficiency in both French and English, with the ability to communicate, collaborate, and prepare documentation in both languages.
