Given our exceptional growth we are expanding and hiring a Director, Business Development to join us on this exciting journey. The Director, Business Development, reporting to the CRO, will lead a group of channel sales professionals responsible for indirect go to market strategy, operations, and revenue across all geographic regions. This role will have a growing team focused on partner strategy and the execution of programs to grow the partner network and impact. They are expected to work cross functionally and collaborate with all departments to build a fully integrated channel partner ecosystem.
Responsibilities- Create and deliver the Bishop Fox ecosystem of non-direct sales programs and pipeline
- Report directly to the CRO
- Establish and achieve non-direct sales pipeline and booking goals
- Manage direct executive relationships with key strategic channel/ecosystem partners
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key stakeholders and leaders across sales, marketing, consulting, product and operations in service of non-direct sales programs and strategy
- Operate as the channel leader as the focal point of all global channel activities
- Public speaking at channel events
- Analyzing and apply key metrics from reports, dashboards, to optimize the non-direct sales business
- Application of the latest channel sales technology stack
- Contribute thought leadership in key management meetings
- Strategize/coordinate with field marketing on design and execution of non-direct sales
- Extensive experience working in channel sales and leadership roles within high growth start-ups for software/SaaS and services businesses
- Experience with alliance partners, ISVs, VARs, Insurance and Public Sector
- Proven track record of consistent quota over-achievement
- 7+ years in the cybersecurity industry with an extensive network in the security channel community
- Strategic thinker and hunter mentality who takes initiative and is capable of hands-on problem solving, as well as ability to generate ideas and solutions
- Ability to communicate with channel partners at all levels - from individual contributor to C-level
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills
- Motivated and focused self-starter with strong leadership skills who is able to multitask and work independently or within a team
- Strong organizational, presentation, and communication skills
