Job Description

Job Purpose: 

This position will own the strategy and execution of sales enablement programs, processes, and analytics that drive customer acquisition and global sales team success, including technology demos, sales training, dashboard reporting, and analytics. You will ensure Sales has the insight, tools, and processes it needs to run effectively and efficiently. The ideal candidate will be based in US with extensive experience working with a CRS (Central Reservation System) and in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial/growth environment.

Job Responsibilities: 

Essential Functions: 

  • Develop and deliver world-class technology demos for the entire Cendyn product suite with a focus on CRS and Distribution services. 
  • Support the sales team by providing technical and business expertise during the pre-contract sales process. 
  • Present product demonstrations to key prospects both in-person and via web conference. 
  • Train the sales team to deliver high-caliber/highly polished sales presentations and product demonstrations. 
  • Work closely with Marketing to create and record short, feature based product demos for content distribution and webinars. 
  • Ensure the product demo applications are always in-sync with the latest features and functionality. 
  • Work closely with Product Management to stay abreast of product development roadmaps and product releases - train the sales team on these new features and capabilities.

  • Work closely with the various internal departments in particular with our Integrations and Development teams in ensuring the sales team have the up-to-date information to enable an efficient and effective sales process. 
  • Streamline business processes by automating workflows and recommending best practices within Salesforce and other sales tools.
  • Provide analysis and actionable metrics on ongoing basis to sales teams and management.
  • Generate ad-hoc reporting and analysis as required.
  • Manage and own the RFP response/proposal process by researching and providing both technical and business requirements and specifications. 
  • Carry out other duties that will further enhance the company’s ability to win new business. 

Requirements:

Required Education and Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree 
  • 5+ year’s customer-facing technical role within the travel and hospitality industry with success dealing with all levels of an organization. 
  • Hands on experience working CRS software and Distribution channels 
  • 5+ years of Saas, Technology, BI, Business Process Consulting and Reporting experience. 
  • Experience in CRM Email Marketing, Digital Marketing, Property Management Systems or Revenue Management preferred. Experience with Opera, NEHOPS and similar PMS systems a plus. 
  • Experience engaging with customers in a consulting, business process analysis or other similar role a plus

Work Environment: 

This job may function in a home office or an office environment. Working in an office environment requires a high degree of discipline and the ability to work with others in a moderately noisy open office environment with centrally controlled head/AC setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds. 

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work: 

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. 

Travel: 

This position requires up to 30% travel. Frequently, travel is outside the local area and overnight
