Director, FP&A

About The Role

Headway is growing fast, and we’re looking for our first FP&A leader! Reporting directly to the Head of Strategic Finance, you will build our FP&A function and manage a team to support our rapid scale. From planning and owning Headway’s operating model to providing insight into business performance through robust financial analysis and reporting, you’ll set Headway up for success as we continue to scale rapidly this year. As a conduit to the executive team and board, you’ll directly help shape strategic growth initiatives and drive ongoing forecasting visibility as we embark on a period of hypergrowth. 

You will: 

• Build, improve and and maintain the company model, linking key actions and inputs to company growth and profitability
• Establish and drive ongoing budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with other teams to ensure resource allocation ties to the company’s strategic goals
• Perform analysis on financial results and operating KPIs, identifying underlying trends and areas of opportunity
• Develop management reporting cadence to deliver key insights to senior leadership and board
• Support M&A and other corporate development initiatives
• Hire and develop a high-performing FP&A team to support the needs of the business

You’d be a great fit if...

• You have 7+ years of strategic finance (FP&A) experience, ideally in a mix of professional services (consulting, banking, investing) and high-growth startup finance
