Job Description

Our Director of Marketing role will work directly with sales leaders, account executives, and cross-functional marketing teams to build, orchestrate, and executego-to-market and other marketing campaigns. You will be an experienced SaaS marketer with an in-depth knowledge of the security, IT, and digital transformation challenges of large organizations - strategic, creative, action and outcome oriented.

Reporting to our Vice President of Marketing Campaign Strategy, you'll be an integral part of the IT Services team to define target customer segments, engage customers and partners and drive go-to-market success across all channels. You will conceive and collaborate with the marketing and sales teams on innovative programs that drive demand and help close deals.

You will be the expert in buyer personas - how the target audience buys, and their buying criteria - and will transfer that knowledge to marketing and sales. As a champion in the market, you will help drive our value props and gain insights that enable you to contribute to our digital product and solution strategy and roadmap. You will be customer-centric, data-driven and agile to the core to deliver optimal business outcomes. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to self-manage and bring projects to the finish line is crucial.

  • Identify customer goals, challenges, buying behaviors and sales motions and define the corresponding go-to-market strategies.
  • Launch new products and releases, be the central 'launch owner' to manage the cross-functional implementation of the plan.
  • Ensure team is maintaining and improving ongoing marketing programs, analyses and reports.
  • Collaborate with digital marketing, solutions marketing, product management, sales, and technical marketing teams on projects to help drive demand, awareness, and pipeline.
  • Create and deliver sales enablement content.
  • Support industry events, conferences and analyst briefings and communicate with tech evangelists.
  • Research and evaluate alternatives and competitors in the market (who they are, differences in our offerings and GTM strategies).
  • Work with sales and marketing teams to broadcast our brand differentiation and solutions messaging to the market, across the organization, and our partner community.

QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related course of study required. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in technology product marketing in the enterprise software market segment - ideally with security, cloud infrastructure and management products.
  • Subject matter background in the enterprise software space
  • Proven track record of managing integrated demand gen marketing campaigns targeting key decision makers using tactics that include live events, webinars, digital advertising, and email.
  • Familiarity with the technology sales cycle and how to employ marketing communication strategies to nurture and engage throughout the buyer's journey.
  • Experience with B2B marketing strategies and understanding of how to best execute ideas and plans into actionable and measurable enterprise-focused integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Experience with technology platforms and digital transformation marketing.

Additional Pay Details:

Compensation range is $125,000 - $173,000.

Position is bonus eligible: STI is 30%
