Overview

Valimail is seeking a Director of Demand Generation to scale the performance of our digital marketing channels and optimize conversion rates. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, this individual will be an integral part of our next phase of growth; responsible for providing direction and establishing standard processes that will craft our GTM strategy as we continue to scale as an organization. 

This individual will partner closely with the product marketing and marketing operations teams as well as our sales and partner teams to drive inbound pipeline growth efforts. Those that are self-motivated and thrive working with a team in a fast-paced environment are best suited for this role. The ideal candidate has a consistent track record of successful demand generation experimentation across key B2B marketing channels.

What You'll Be Doing: 

  • Own cross-channel demand generation strategy and execution across key audience segments, personas, target geographies, and channels
  • Partner with key collaborators and external contractors to identify new programs or areas for improvement that will drive pipeline for Valimail through multiple inbound channels to include paid, social media, account-based marketing, website optimization, content as well as new experimental channels 
  • Manage campaign budgets and vendor relationships to scale the performance of our SEO, SEM and paid advertising strategies as well as decrease overall CAC and increase LTV 
  • Collaborate closely with product marketing and communications team members to develop compelling assets for new customer acquisition campaigns, demand programs including industry reports, videos, case studies, whitepapers, eBooks, and interactive tools
  • Build a world-class ABM program from the ground up, targeting key Enterprise accounts. Partner with SDRs and AEs to engage, nurture and win the accounts
  • Share your expertise with members of the growth team to execute lifecycle marketing programs that rely on data for advancement
  • Consistently communicate with the senior leadership team on program execution, results, and impact to ensure we’re moving quickly to lean into what’s working and move away from what’s not

About You: 

  • 8+ years of experience in demand generation and digital marketing, preferably in the cybersecurity space
  • Consistent track record of working at the strategic and tactical level to develop and implement innovative and effective demand and lead generation campaigns
  • Superb working knowledge of paid advertising channels (SEM, Disp, Paid Social, etc) as well as account based marketing tactics
  • Strong understanding of customer lifecycle marketing focused on driving engagement with our future and current customers 
  • Analytical and curious; consistently using data to drive incremental improvements with a firm grasp of inbound funnel reporting, as well as pipeline, conversion, and marketing attribution models
  • Experience in planning and implementing campaigns for regional sales teams as well as partner teams
  • Outcome driven coach, mentor and role model who manages and develops outstanding talent and gets results through partnership and individual performance improvement
  • Strong project management abilities with outstanding organizational skills that meets or exceeds goals, timelines, and budget
  • Exceptional written, verbal, communication, and interpersonal skills to communicate, influence, and effectively convey information at all levels of the organization
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Google Analytics, WordPress, Marketo and 6sense preferred
