The Role: Director of Information Technology
Location: Remote
About This Role:
We are looking for a dynamic, empathetic, and action-oriented individual to join our growing team.
We are searching for a Director of Information Technology to lead product delivery teams building against our full stack.
What You'll Do:- Build a scalable Corporate IT function and team to support a rapidly growing business
- Own provisioning, management, and support of Hazel’s technology tools
- Manage online services (Google Workspace, NetOps, AWS, etc.)
- Develop and facilitate relevant training for our technology tools
- Lead internal technology initiatives in collaboration with leads across all teams
- Define and support published SLAs for resolving technology issues
- Implement and operate data security and audit controls as required by HIPAA and other relevant regulations
- Lead disaster recovery preparation and testing
- Track and manage expenditures within budget
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years experience in an information technology role, minimum 2+ years leading IT teams
- Experience supporting macOS and iOS systems
- Experience supporting cloud-based servers and services
- Ability to easily communicate technical components of initiatives to stakeholders
- Flexibility to adapt to changing needs, processes, and business priorities
- Strong leadership presence and determination to move the projects and teams forward when faced with obstacles
- Excellent working knowledge of computing infrastructure designed for employee efficiency
- Experience managing outside vendors through their whole lifecycle
- Experience leading and implementing data security initiatives
- Working knowledge of laws, policies, procedures, and practices regarding privacy and security of protected health information, including HIPAA and HITECH
- Experience in a fast-growing organization is a plus
