Job Description

Bitcoin Depot is seeking a Director of Marketing to develop, implement, track and optimize our Product, Consumer, and Event marketing initiatives across all channels.  Our Director of Marketing will manage the marketing team and be responsible for creating and managing the day-to-day marketing activities and long-term marketing strategy for the company. Bitcoin Depot is the largest Bitcoin ATM Network in the world offering users the ability to buy and sell Bitcoin at thousands of BTM and BDCheckout locations.

 Responsibilities

 B2C Marketing

  • Manage and develop advertising creatives through coordination with staff copywriters and designers
  • Create demand-generation and lead collection campaigns and manage our agencies and vendors conducting these campaigns on our behalf
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.  Brainstorms new and creative growth campaigns and strategies
  • Oversee creation and execution of our comprehensive social media and PR Strategy
  • Create a regular publishing schedule for relevant social media channels; 
  • Manage, develop and place campaigns on relevant advertising platforms, including AdWords, Facebook, Reddit, Twitter, Linkedin, etc.
  • Develop and execute strategies to place Bitcoin Depot at the top of relevant SEO searches
  • Curate and promote company activities, relevant industry-oriented news and activities to highlight as a thought leader for its target markets
  • Take steps to measure, enhance, and enrich brand awareness through various goals and objectives

Product Marketing

  • Analyze customer buying cycles and define/update buyer personas
  • Craft compelling messaging and positioning that addresses a buyer’s needs and invokes the desire to engage
  • Translate messaging into meaningful and contextual benefits that feed into the development of creative presentations, demonstrations, collateral, blogs, and email marketing campaigns, retention campaigns
  • Develop sales plays and enablement tools focused on helping inside sales, field sales teams, and channel partners. Understand target markets and buyers, buyer personas, pains points, and key messages
  • Develop cross product programs and initiatives that will drive further market penetration
  • Continuously evaluate the user experience and product communications and take the initiative to improve 
  • Gather and analyze competitive data to infuse content with messaging that is clear and communicates our key differentiators

Conference Strategy

  • Build and maintain an inventory of applicable conferences, trade shows, and speaking calendar(s) for our chosen conferences
  • Promote staff conference participation by maintaining a CFP calendar and reminding staff of proposal due-dates
  • Secure and handle logistics for scheduled conference trade shows
  • Coordinate with our copywriters and designers to ensure booths, demos, and handouts are correctly prepared for our chosen conferences
  • Publicize our conference activities to prospects and past attendees through email and other online promotion

Qualifications

  • 7+ years' product marketing, marketing, data analyst, or product management experience at a software company in a leadership role managing a team 
  • MUST BE proficient in Google Ads and Google Analytics
  • Website design, SEO & SEM experience preferred
  • 20% Travel Required
  • Solid analytical and critical thinking skills with prm, expertise in breaking complex problems and presenting solutions to them
  • Loves data and knows how to leverage data in different ways for different audiences to drive the direction of the business
  • Ability to build business models based on user insights and data with SQL/Excel proficiency a plus
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or communications
