  • Serve as the subject matter expert for payroll systems, including ADP Workforce Now and related integrations, ensuring system optimization and data integrity.
  • Oversee federal, state, and local payroll tax compliance, including SUTA, FUTA, FICA, garnishments, W-2/W-3 processing, and tax reconciliations.
  • Handle escalated payroll issues, tax notices, and audit requests while ensuring strong internal controls and compliance practices.
  • Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to enhance scalability, efficiency, and reporting accuracy.
  • Deliver payroll analytics, audit support, and strategic reporting to senior leadership, including workforce trends and benefits-related reporting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, finance, and operations teams to support organizational growth and operational excellence.
  • Requirements:

    • Extensive experience managing U.S. multi-state payroll operations, with strong expertise in payroll tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions.
    • Proven leadership experience managing payroll teams in remote or distributed work environments.
    • Advanced proficiency with payroll systems such as ADP Workforce Now, Kronos/UKG, and advanced Excel functions including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and macros.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; CPA or CPP certification is highly preferred.
    • Strong understanding of payroll regulations, audits, garnishments, year-end processing, and tax reporting requirements.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex payroll and tax matters to U.S.-based stakeholders.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities with a process improvement mindset.
    • Ability to work night shift hours aligned with U.S. Eastern/Central time zones in a fully remote setting.
    • Benefits:

      • Fully remote work environment based in the Philippines.
      • Competitive monthly compensation ranging from $85,000 to $110,000 PHP, based on experience.
      • Night shift differential and premium compensation for graveyard hours.
      • Premium HMO healthcare coverage with dependent options.
      • Paid holidays and generous paid time off accrual.
      • Career growth opportunities within a U.S.-based organization.
      • Stable full-time employment with a mission-driven company.
      • Exposure to innovative workforce development and technology initiatives.
