This is a critical leadership positionideal for someone with hospital DOP experience whos ready to step in and lead without clinical or staffing responsibilities.What Youll Do: • Oversee pharmacy operations, ensuring regulatory and policy compliance • Serve as a strategic lead without taking on PIC status or staffing shifts • Partner with a well-established team to maintain workflow and safety standards • No weekend or on-call duties strictly weekday, administrative coverageAbout the Pharmacy: • Hours of operation: 7:00 AM 10:00 PM daily • Remote order entry handled byPipelineduring off-hours • Staffing: 56 pharmacists, 67 techs, plus PRN coverage as needed • No chemo preparation; no compounding required • 340B programin place, managed by a dedicated teamSystems and Tools: • EHR/Order Entry:Paragon (Allscripts) • Automation:Pyxis • 340B experienceis preferred, though management is handled by a separate teamMust-Have Qualifications: • ActiveCalifornia Pharmacist License (CA RPh) • Previous experience as ahospital Director of Pharmacy • Strong command of: • Policy and procedure development (including regulatory crosswalks) • Pharmacy compliance standards and survey readiness • Bluesight, MERP, ASP, and Pharmacy & Therapeutics (P&T) involvement • Pharmacy Chargemaster and reimbursement practices Ready to make an impact in a leadership role without staffing duties?
