Job Description

ABC Fitness Solutions is seeking a talented individual to join our team as a Director of Reporting (Business Intelligence). This individual will lead ongoing financial and client data reporting systems that provides valuable business information and analytics to ABC leadership and key clientele. Our industry has experienced a shift to data driven decisions and this role will be instrumental to the next phase of growth for ABC Fitness Solutions.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Ability to plan for, communicate, and lead change management throughout the reporting organization
• Our ideal candidate will be passionate about systematically finding creative approaches to most effectively bridge the gap between data and decision makers
• Will be a detail-oriented problem solver who has a track record of conducting in-depth analyses for an executive audience
• Working with a wide variety of stakeholders that span multiple departments and teams including: Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Product Management, and Operations
• Leading efforts to improve data offerings and fluency by contributing to documentation, and training teams to become self-sufficient in data
• Guide the teams in creating dashboards, reports and analysis to uncover insights that help our customer grow their business
• Lead the transformation from a support focused team to a value-add team by creating offerings for the client base
• Balance multiple priorities and effectively communicate the benefits and limits of predictive models, optimization, and personalization
• Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business and/or operational plans, projects, programs, and systems
• Establish and implement short- and long-range departmental goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures
• Establish the right KPIs to keep a pulse on the health of the department

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

• 6+ years of experience managing teams and personnel
• 6+ years of relevant and progressively complex reporting and business analysis experience
• 3+ years of experience in a senior-level finance, accounting, or data reporting position
• Degree in Business Management, Finance, Accounting, or Computer Science
• Master's Degree a plus
• Direct experience dealing with SiSense is preferred but not required
• Direct experience with PowerBI
• Significant financial management and business reporting experience
• Strong business acumen and highly developed quantitative analysis skills
• In-depth experience with current technologies and reporting tool landscape
• Experience in strategic planning and execution
• Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
• Superior written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes and simultaneously manage several projects
