Team: Project Management

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Director of Service Delivery based in United States.

This leadership role is responsible for driving the successful end-to-end delivery of complex fiber infrastructure programs across dense metro and long-haul networks. You will oversee multi-disciplinary operations teams managing engineering, permitting, construction, and deployment activities across highly regulated environments. The position plays a critical role in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations. You will act as a senior client-facing leader, building trusted relationships with key accounts and guiding strategic execution across large-scale deployments. The role also involves shaping operational frameworks, improving delivery efficiency, and scaling processes to support continued organizational growth. This is a high-impact position suited for an experienced leader who thrives in complex infrastructure environments and excels at balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing operations teams including project managers and coordinators, fostering a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement.
  • Oversee end-to-end delivery of large-scale fiber infrastructure projects, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and milestone tracking.
  • Manage vendor relationships including selection, bid management, contract negotiation, and performance oversight for engineering, environmental, and construction partners.
  • Serve as the primary operational liaison for key client accounts, leading executive communications, business reviews, and escalation resolution.
  • Ensure compliance and execution across the full OSP lifecycle, including engineering, permitting, construction, splicing, and testing activities.
  • Validate vendor invoices, monitor project financials, and support capital budget management and cost optimization initiatives.
  • Identify process inefficiencies and drive operational improvements to increase delivery speed, scalability, and overall service quality.
  • Requirements:

    • 10+ years of experience in operations leadership, ideally within fiber infrastructure, telecom, or large-scale OSP environments.
    • Proven experience managing end-to-end Outside Plant (OSP) lifecycle projects, including engineering, permitting, construction, and deployment.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and scale high-performing teams, including experience managing managers or senior project leaders.
    • Strong executive communication skills with experience engaging clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership in high-stakes environments.
    • Deep understanding of fiber network design, cost structures, construction practices, and regulatory/permitting requirements.
    • Strong project planning, budgeting, and risk management capabilities across complex, multi-site programs.
    • Proficiency with tools such as Google Workspace, Smartsheet, GIS platforms, and mapping tools (Google Earth/Maps).
    • Ability to travel up to 20% as required for client meetings, project oversight, and field engagement.
    • Bachelor’s degree preferred, along with experience in data-driven operational environments.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive base salary ranging from $135,000 to $155,000 annually, plus up to 20% target bonus.
      • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
      • Paid life insurance and short-term disability coverage.
      • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
      • Paid time off, holidays, and flexible remote work arrangement.
      • Opportunity to lead large-scale, high-impact fiber infrastructure programs nationwide.
      • Professional growth within a rapidly scaling infrastructure organization focused on digital connectivity expansion.
