This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director of Strategic Accounts in United Kingdom.

This role is responsible for driving strategic growth and revenue expansion across biotech and pharmaceutical accounts in Spain. You will leverage deep industry expertise and relationships to engage C-suite executives, navigate complex organizations, and close high-value deals. The position combines strategic thinking, relationship management, and hands-on sales execution to ensure customer outcomes align with business objectives. You will develop and execute long-term account plans, lead negotiations, and shape the sales approach to maximize impact. The role thrives in a fast-paced, innovative, and collaborative environment where autonomy and ownership are highly valued.

Accountabilities:

  • Own revenue growth and account expansion across greenfield territory, identifying and pursuing new opportunities in biotech and pharma.
  • Build and execute strategic account plans, aligning solutions with customer ROI and long-term business objectives.
  • Cultivate relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders, navigating complex organizations to drive alignment and adoption.
  • Lead value-based sales cycles, translating product capabilities into measurable outcomes and business impact.
  • Orchestrate strategic meetings, account mapping, and pipeline development to strengthen customer engagement.
  • Contribute to refining sales processes, promoting a results-driven culture, and mentoring internal teams.
  • Requirements:

    • 5+ years of experience in sales, ideally within SaaS solutions for life sciences, biotech, or pharma.
    • Proven track record in value-based selling, managing complex sales cycles, and closing high-value deals.
    • Expertise in account management across multiple business units within large, complex organizations.
    • Strong network and ability to act as a trusted advisor to senior decision-makers.
    • Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills, with fluency in Spanish and professional English.
    • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and high-growth environment.
    • Collaborative mindset with a focus on fostering strong relationships internally and externally.
