Director of Technical Product Management

As a Director of Technical Product Management, you will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a modern enterprise platform that powers scalable SaaS and customer-managed environments. This is a high-impact leadership role focused on building reliable, secure, and high-performing platform capabilities that support long-term business growth. Working closely with engineering, architecture, and cross-functional stakeholders, you will shape technical direction while balancing customer needs, platform investments, and operational excellence. • Define and execute the platform product strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer requirements.
• Drive continuous improvements across platform performance, scalability, reliability, security, and observability.
• Gather and prioritize requirements from internal application teams and customer-deployed environments, translating technical needs into actionable product initiatives.
• Own platform demand management, balancing new feature development, technical debt reduction, and infrastructure investments.
• Partner closely with engineering and architecture teams to guide technical decisions, platform evolution, and long-term scalability.
• Coordinate cross-functional execution, manage dependencies, and ensure predictable delivery of platform initiatives.
• Communicate product priorities, roadmap decisions, and strategic trade-offs to technical and business stakeholders.
• Champion operational excellence and ensure the platform is prepared to support enterprise-scale growth and evolving customer needs.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, with significant ownership of platform, infrastructure, developer platform, API, or other technical products.
• Strong understanding of hybrid SaaS architectures, including control plane and customer-deployed VPC environments.
• Proven experience defining and driving non-functional requirements such as security, scalability, reliability, performance, and observability.
• Demonstrated success delivering complex platform roadmaps and measurable business outcomes.
• Technical fluency with software architecture, infrastructure, migrations, technical debt, and platform trade-offs.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to collaborate across engineering, product, leadership, and business teams.
• Experience working in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.
• Familiarity with enterprise or highly regulated industries, including compliance frameworks such as SOX or SOC, is an advantage.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence technical and executive audiences.
• Ability to work with significant overlap with US East Coast teams, including availability until approximately 2:30 AM IST.
