JOB SUMMARY
The Director of Retail Facilities Management reports to the Regional Vice President and is responsible for directing and managing the facilities maintenance and remodels (design, planning, and construction) of 150+ Sunnyside dispensaries nationwide. You will develop budgets and long-term facilities plans based on future growth and forecasting property enhancements to improve existing retail stores. On the day-to-day you and your team will manage external vendors to ensure the functionality of all building systems, approve contracts, and oversee contractors all while ensuring timely updates to Retail Management and proper tracking of facility issues from inception to completion. This is a key leadership position as you will lead all facility efforts to meet project timelines and maintain operations of our dispensaries.

- Experience leading and motivating a team; skills include recruiting, onboarding, training, managing employee relations and coaching.
- Budget responsibility supporting retail operations nationally.

CORE JOB DUTIESÂ
- Develop, coach, and inspire your team to achieve individual and team goals through regular

- Drive the direction of facilities long-term and short-term plans by managing vendor relations and forecasting remodels and property upgrades to maintain operations and meet budget goals.
- Develop and manage the facilities budget and make recommendations to meet or exceed budget goals.
- Establish and nurture key business partner relationships across Retail Management, Construction, IT, Compliance, Security, Employees Health & Safety, and HR.
- Interface with retail management teams to understand needs and engage on strategic planning as it pertains to facilities management services.
- Respond to all Dispensary Manager’s facilities tickets, questions, or concerns and provide timelines for resolution and/or implementation.
- Manage the day-to-day facilities issues for resolution by dispatch or escalation to property management, including but not limited to roof leaks, HVAC issues, plumbing back-ups, door and window breaks,
- Conduct bidding processes for potential new vendor to identify cost savings and the top facilities partners that provide quality and reliable services.
- Maintain and improve existing vendor relationships while ensuring their compliance with all applicable policies and procedures
- Oversee invoicing process to ensure work has been completed according to expectations and is approved for timely payment.
- Provide regular updates, feedback, and solutions to corporate retail leadership across all aspects of facilities management.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION AND SKILLSÂ Â
- 10 plus years of Facilities Management Experience, preferably in a high-growth or fast-paced environment with multiple site responsibility.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in Facilities Management, Engineering or Property Management.
- Strong problem solving, negotiating, and critical judgment skills for all proposed scopes of work.
- Skilled in vetting contractor proposals/scopes of work (including but not limited to roofing, HVAC, plumbing)
- Strong business acumen including vendor management, attention to detail, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A high level of integrity, personal motivation, adaptability, and sense of urgency.
- Proficiency in applications such as Smartsheets and Microsoft Office programs.

COMPENSATION
In accordance with CO Equal Pay for Equal Work Act the estimated range of compensation is $120,000 - $130,000 + bonus eligible. Final offer details are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to, geographic location, market compensation data, skills, experience and other relevant factors.
