Pluralsight is looking for a compassionate and courageous servant leader to lead our Salesforce Platform Operations team. You will be joining a band of inspired Administrators, Environment Managers and Engineers devoted to the preservation of optimum performance, security and value for our business users and Salesforce delivery teams. Your extensive Salesforce administrative experience serves you well in mentoring highly professional individuals to continually build upon their expertise. What you'll own:
  • Drive decisions around environment strategy, user access, and configurations in design and discovery calls.
  • Prepare for Salesforce critical updates and releases, understanding their benefits and risks. This includes working with the team and stakeholders to test, educate, train, and communicate about upcoming Salesforce changes.
  • Manage production and sandbox environments, including setting up new environments, data seeding and anonymization, sandbox configurations, and user access.
  • Oversee monitoring, backup, archiving, and recovery of Salesforce configurations and data using third-party tools.
  • Develop a robust team of administrators and first responders to safeguard the platform.
  • Support Salesforce project and development teams with DevOps continuous integration and delivery technologies, along with pre and post-deployment tasks.
  • Establish and enforce best practices, governance policies, and data management standards for Salesforce administration.

Experience you'll need:
  • A minimum of 7 years' experience leading a Salesforce technical team, specializing in Sales Cloud and CPQ.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce-specific DevOps tools like Copado, Salesforce DX, Gearset.
  • At least two of the following Salesforce certifications: Administrator, Advanced Administrator, CPQ Specialist, Platform Developer I, Platform App Builder.
  • Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities in a dynamic Agile environment.
  • Extensive experience with Agile Teams and a deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Capable of driving decisions/actions in cross-functional settings and managing competing priorities.
  • Success in leading Salesforce administrators and developers, fostering a high-performance team culture, and promoting excellence.
  • Experience working with internationally dispersed, remote teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking and business acumen, with an ability to align Salesforce initiatives with organizational goals.
