About the role
This person will serve in a critical role helping with execution of strategic initiatives and operational programs in close partnership with the CSO, their Chief of Staff, Executive Assistant, and their leadership team.
Your day-to-day will involve:
- Responsible for spearheading the transformation of our Security Program into a series of Product lines and services. Collaborating with each Security Area Lead on the strategic direction of the product and services in their areas.
- Drive engineering effectiveness and product velocity, working to identify and remove blockers that slow security engineers down.
- Responsible for building the systems and processes for ensuring Security & Privacy is able to intake and balance the demands from the many functions across the company. As well as, ensuring intake by the cross functional partners of Security & Privacy initiatives is occurring.
- Responsible for the end to end system to ensure Security & Privacy is moving in the direction we expect with respect to our OKRs and critical projects.
- Oversee Security & Privacy planning and budget process. Serve as a strategic partner to Security's CoS in driving towards a successful planning outcome, dive deep into planning content with respective area leads to highlight critical areas and trade-offs;
- Partner closely with People, Finance, Biz Ops, and Product counterparts on all strategy and execution.
- Own definition, scoping and execution of special and strategic projects. Identify and drive special projects with high visibility and relevance to CSO and Leadership team
- Drive collaboration across teams, developing relationships with key leaders inside and outside of Security & Privacy to ensure smooth rollout of key operational initiatives.
- Drive the development of key performance metrics for active projects and aggregate this data to provide visibility into team performance
Some things we consider critical for this role:
- 5+ years of experience in a Product Manager position or similar role in Technical Programs / Program Management
- Highly organized with a bias for action and strong sense of ownership / accountability
- High levels of integrity and trust
- Enthusiastic about systematically and analytically breaking down complex problems into actionable recommendations
- Comfortable working across organizations, from the C-suite to the most junior employees, and from engineers to ops teams
- Possessing a 'builder's mindset' and a track record of operational excellence, creating systems and processes from scratch
- Low Ego and High EQ: no job should be too small, nor any problem too big to work through, particularly through collaboration with the team
CO Residents: In Colorado, the base pay for this position ranges from $199000 to $264000. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and participation in Robinhood's equity plan.
