Director, Technical Product Management

About You

The Director, Technical Product Management at Nutrafol will have the responsibility to help shape and deliver the strategic roadmap for the Tech team, with prioritization driven by business benefits and value to our customer. As Director of Technical Product Management, you will provide a strong degree of thought leadership and drive delivery of this technology roadmap, working closely with key stakeholders across the organization such as Digital product, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and more.

The scope of this role includes the breadth of our technology stack supporting Nutrafol's business, including B2C, B2B and Enterprise applications. Responsibilities

• Shape strategy and guide delivery for our technology roadmap, including some of the organization's most impactful initiatives
• Lead establishment of an Enterprise Resource Planning solution, in partnership with our Finance and operations teams
• Liaise with vendors and external partners, summarizing business needs and requirements and translating them into a technical solution and subsequent plan
• Partner with retention and customer teams to define the experience of the mobile app, focused on our subscription customers and delivering an engaging experience that can improve post acquisition retention metrics
• Launch loyalty programs to increase consumer engagement, and LTV
• Partner closely with data and analytics teams to identify opportunities to drive revenue growth with technology based on data driven insights
• Partner with Growth and marketing teams to drive SEO optimization
• Provide a strong degree of thought leadership and help develop the product vision and roadmap for our Technology organization in partnership with senior leadership and other stakeholders
• Lead the definition, prioritization, intake, and scoping of technology roadmap, using all available data and resources to guide decision-making
• Collaborate with other product managers in the Digital product, data, and analytics teams and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on shared goals and priorities
• Serve as a liaison between Business and Technology teams to ensure the tech roadmap meets business expectations with high adoption and satisfaction rates
• Support testing initiatives to establish lift in business metrics
• Craft business requirements and user stories
• Support cross-functional business teams by answering questions, making recommendations, providing training, and guiding user acceptance testing
• Define and measure product performance using qualitative and quantitative strategies

Requirements

• 10+ years Product Management experience in technology organizations, demonstrating increasing levels of responsibilities
• 5+ years experience leading and building technical product teams
• Experience in e-commerce
• Passion for building great customer experiences, driving operational processes, and bringing a vision to life
• Understanding of and ability to communicate technical concepts,
• Ability to manage trade offs and evaluate new ideas with partners across the organization
• Ability to dive into data and insights and guide the team to data-driven decisions
• In-depth experience driving detailed technical conversations with the definition and clarity needed to ensure a successful product
• Thorough understanding of agile methodologies and how technology teams can iteratively engage to deliver customer value
• Natural executor:  You're a can-do type of person willing to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
• Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to lead and influence others
• Relevant experience leading transformation efforts

Preferred:

• Health & Wellness industry experience
• Knowledge of ERP, Loyalty programs and mobile application development
• Bachelor's or higher degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or Engineering
